Founded in 1992, Première Moisson is a Quebec company that makes and sells healthy food products. Its approach respects the great traditions in baking, charcuterie and pastry making. The Colpron-Fiset family founded Première Moisson Bakery in 1992. Backed by 25 years of experience, the family draws inspiration from the best traditional recipes and ancestral breadmaking techniques.
This allows them to create a varied line-up of products that are rich in flavour and consistent with the highest standards of quality.
From the outset, Première Moisson has focused on producing healthful products made from fresh, natural ingredients.
Despite ongoing growth and expansion, Première Moisson Bakery has never strayed from its founding principles and operates based on a rigorous, three-point approach calling for freshness, quality and authenticity.
Its mission is to develop and make creations that will fulfil the needs of consumers who want authentic, top-quality and original products. As a result, the company still employs a slow-rising breadmaking technique to ensure that all breads are as flavourful as possible.
In 2007, Première Moisson became the first bakery to make all its wheat breads using natural flours produced entirely from wheat grown in Quebec. Moreover, all of our flours are unbleached, chemically untreated and produced from an exceptional mix of grains that are the fruit of the work of local farmers and of the know-how of our miller. Première Moisson's exclusive grain mixtures are the product of an integrated farming approach called Agriculture Raisonnée™, which brings together a variety of innovative practices aimed at preserving the environment.
The company currently has 18 bakeries and 3 Express counters and it offers select products in supermarkets and Costco stores in Quebec and Ontario.
